So on this day after -- GLAAD now asks you to send us your Spirit Day stories!  We will highlight some of the submitted stories in upcoming blog posts over the next few weeks.

Please go to www.glaad.org/spiritday/stories to submit your personal story highlighting how you chose to commemorate the day!

  1. What did you wear on Spirit Day? Did you make your profile picture purple? If you have links to photos of yourself, please include them.
  2. How did you speak out against anti-LGBT bullying?
  3. What else can we do to stop anti-LGBT bullying?

Submit your story now.

The idea behind Spirit Day was first created by teenager Brittany McMillan earlier this month in response to the youth who took their own lives due to anti-LGBT bullying.  For more  background information about Spirit Day, please visit www.glaad.org/spiritday.
